About Twenty

Twenty is an open-source CRM that set out to be a modern, community-driven alternative to Salesforce. It offers companies, people and opportunities out of the box, plus unlimited custom objects and fields, table, kanban and calendar views, email and calendar sync, workflows and AI agents. Developers get REST and GraphQL APIs, webhooks and an MCP server, and the codebase is on GitHub with a large contributor community. You can run it yourself with Docker Compose at no licence cost, or pay for the hosted version, which is priced per user per month with a trial. Being young, it is still filling in features that mature CRMs take for granted, such as deep reporting and a large integration marketplace, and self-hosting means you handle upgrades and backups. Some enterprise features, such as SSO and row-level permissions, are on paid cloud tiers. It runs in the browser, either on twenty.com or on your own server. It suits technical teams that want a modern CRM they can own and extend.

Best for: Technical teams that want a modern CRM they can self-host and extend.
